Adaptive cruise control
Radar-based technology that automatically maintains a specified distance from the vehicle in front by gently braking the vehicle as required, even down to a halt. Selectable cruising speed range: 30 km/h–210 km/h.
The distance warning is able to detect a safety hazard due to following too close and warns the driver in a vehicle speed range from approx. 65 – 250 km/h (40 – 156 mph) by displaying the symbol on the instrument cluster.
Additional functions through the standard warn and brake assist when danger of collision is detected: - reversible occupant protection measures (even if the driver's emergency braking is detected)
