Remote-Controlled Parking:
  • Remote-controlled parking allows the driver to enter and leave a parking space via smartphone. The system automatically detects parallel and perpendicular parking spaces and measures their size. If the parking space is a sufficient size, the driver can exit the vehicle then initiate the park maneuvers. At the end of the parking maneuver, the vehicle is automatically switched off and locked.
Garage Pilot: 
  • The Garage Pilot uses the same principle as the remote-controlled parking and is used when the vehicle is to be parked in a narrow garage without the driver being in the vehicle. The driver can also use this function to make the vehicle leave the garage.
Active Parking Support:
  • The system automatically detects parking spaces. Once the system has signaled that the parking space is a sufficient size, the driver can initiate and control the parking process while still in the vehicle. The system automatically takes over the steering as well as the forward and backward movement of the vehicle. The Active Parking Support is able to park the vehicle in parallel and perpendicular parking spaces. 
3D Surround View:
  • The 3D Surround View display allows the driver to influence the perspective displayed within the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) screen, resulting in a better all-round view. This allows for an enhanced view of your surroundings while parking. 
Rear Cross Traffic Alert:
  • The Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses the rear radar and, where system limitations allow, warns the driver when reversing slowly of oncoming traffic when the parking aid is activated. The system warns, for example, of critically approaching vehicles when leaving a perpendicular parking space. The information is provided in stages – visually on the PCM screen, audibly and, if necessary, with a jolt of the brakes. 
Exit Warning:
  • The exit warning warns of other vehicles approaching from behind when the door is opened. The system uses the LED lighting in the interior door handle as a warning. 
Maneuvering Assist:
  • Maneuvering assist can, where system limitations allow, prevent collisions through braking in tight and complex maneuvering situations while in reverse.
Notes: Only in conjunction with Surround View, Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Comfort Access.

Only compatible with iPhone 7 and higher with iOS 13 and higher. The assistance provided by Remote Park Assist is subject to system limitations. The driver must monitor at all times and intervene in cases of doubt. 

Remote Park Assist can help you park your vehicle remotely. However, it may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors are damaged, dirty, covered, or exposed to weather conditions (snow, fog, heavy rain) that might interfere with sensor operation. Before using, always inspect the parking area with your own eyes to ensure that it is clear of items that might be harmed or might harm your vehicle.
